Why add this as a separate section? I just wanted to bring attention to what typography actually is. Many people think it's to do with type design and creating fancy headline fonts. In fact it is the art and technique of arranging type in order to make language visible.
It follows therefore that a great deal of graphic design relies on good typography so that words and information can be communicated effectively. I have a great passion for this as I studied Advanced Typographical Design early in my career. I learnt, among other things, how to deal with complex information and attempt to make it both attractive to the eye, yet easy to read and comprehendible. Some of the projects included such things as complex flight timetables and sign systems.
These principles apply to all graphic communication too of course whether it be one word or a complete website. Get in touch if you feel communicating the worth of your product or service is important to you.
